Within the efforts to enhance knowledge and skills in the agricultural sector, the Agro courses educational online platform was developed, targeting current and future farmers, as well as all those interested in modern agricultural production. The platform was designed in response to the increasingly pronounced challenges facing agriculture, including climate change and the growing frequency of natural disasters.
The Agro courses platform offers free, simple, and intuitive access to a range of online courses covering current topics in agriculture. Through three currently available courses, users can gain new knowledge on adapting agricultural production to climate change, applying sustainable and good agricultural practices, improving farm productivity and resilience, as well as on contemporary trends and innovations in the sector.
In addition to courses, the platform offers supplementary educational materials such as publications and photographs, helping users better understand and apply the acquired knowledge in practice. A flexible learning approach enables participants to learn at their own pace and in line with their interests.
The Agro courses platform was developed within the project “Strengthening Disaster Resilience in Agriculture”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia and other national partners.
